Kuche is a derivative of Küchen, the German word for kitchen, and Cucina is the Italian word for kitchen. Looking to create a company name that would be recognizable to those looking for European kitchen design excellence, Amir Ilin decided on
Kuche + Cucina to evoke an image of quality and craftsmanship. "While we love German and Italian design, we're truly international in our quest to build the world's greatest kitchens," he says. "We find great ideas everywhere, and we incorporate everything we love into the work we do for clients in a way that makes each project unique."
In Spanish, it's cocina. In Latin, it's coquina. In Dutch, it's keuken. No matter how you say it, we love to build great kitchens of distinction.
